Foley, a supremely talented athlete, attended Redfield from 1997 to 2003 and won the College Blue award for representing Redfield in five sports. He played for our Hills Zone Junior Rugby team, winning the competition twice, and captained the Western Zone-winning U13 Redfield Rugby team in 2002.

Foley made his Wallabies debut in 2011, following in his grandfather’s and great-uncle’s footsteps. He's now a veteran of 71 Tests and has been playing in Japan since the last World Cup. And now he's back in Yellow and Gold!

Our very own Mr Fitzgerald (second image, middle) was his teacher and Rugby coach while Foley was still a student, and said, "He has stuck around and he has worked so hard to get where he is". Bernard has come back to Redfield several times throughout his career to share his advice and experiences with our students.

Congratulations, Bernard! You are continually doing the College proud.
